U.S. Friendly Poker Payment Processors
eWalletXpress - eWalletXpress has a limit of $150 initially with no fees. After the initial deposit there is an 8.8% fee on all deposits. The limit is $750 per week although players can have their limits increased as high as $4500 a week. Players can also deposit by bank wire for $15 for up to $1000 a week. Cashouts have a 10% up to $150 fee. Players can withdraw $5-$5000 per day.Pic-Club - Also known as Player’s Investment Company, players can deposit by all major credit cards as well as Western Union and MoneyGram. Limits are up to $3000 a day depending on the deposit method.
Epassporte - Epassporte stopped processing online poker transactions effective April 11, 2008.
Visa - While many banks do not allow gaming transactions some still do, especially by debit card. While you may deposit by Visa U.S. players cannot withdraw to their Visa card. Players in many countries outside the U.S. are able to cash out by Visa. Typically U.S. players that deposit by Visa will have to cash out by check. There are usually no fees for player for depositng by Visa.
Mastercard - Many banks will block U.S. gaming transactions but some still have success depositing by Mastercard, especially by debit card. Mastercard does not allow gaming cashouts regardless of the country the account is located in. Typically players will have to cash out by check.
eChecks - Many online poker rooms have the ability to transfer money to and from your checking account. It is as simple as filling out a form that includes all of your checking account info. In most cases the deposit is instant although the transaction may not appear on your bank statement immediately. Cashouts take 7-10 days to appear. Typically there are no fees involved in using eChecks.
UseMyWallet - UseMyWallet is also known as QuickTender. It is the U.S. version of EcoCard. Players can deposit by credit card for a 5% fee or transfer from their bank account for free. Cashouts are only made by bank wire. The cost of the bank wire is $30 in addition to what your bank charges which typically is between $15-$20.
Western Union - Although it is against Western Union's terms of service many poker rooms accept payments by Western Union. Often times poker rooms will describe this as a cash transfer and you will need to contact their support for transfer details. Western Union deposits cost anywhere between 7-20% depending on the size and whether a credit card or cash was used. Some poker rooms will cash you out this was as well but the fees are passed on to the player.
MoneyGram - Similar but cheaper then Western Union, players must also contact support to get payment details. The fee for using this service is usually a flat $9.95. Some poker rooms will cash you out this way too. They usually charge a flat $25 for this service.
Paper Checks - Some poker rooms allow players to mail checks for deposits. These checks may take weeks to arrive and clear before the funds are deposited in a player’s account. There is no cost to the player beyond the stamp. Most poker rooms mail checks as a form of cashout. These checks tend to take 7-30 days to arrive to players. Some poker rooms charge a small fee for cashing out by check. This fee doesn't usually exceed $10 if sent by regular mail.
Money Orders - Many poker rooms accept money orders as a form of deposit. It can take two weeks for these funds to show up in a player’s account. The only cost involved in this deposit method is the cost of the money order and the stamp.
