Games such as Razzdugi, Badeucy and Badacey are typically only found in home games or some mixed games in Las Vegas casinos. The great thing about learning games like those is that nobody is a master of them. Typically they are played just for fun at lower limits. They are much more social than serious games.
Razzdugi
Razzdugi is dealt like a normal seven card razz game. Players ante and then two cards are dealt face down and one up. The highest card starts the betting with a bringin. Players then decide if they would like to call the bring in, raise or fold. The rest of the hand is dealt just like razz with an up card on 4th, 5th and 6th street and 7th street is down. There is a bet after each street. The bet amount on 4th equals the complete bet amount on 3rd. On 5th, 6th and 7th street the bet is double that amount. For example in 3/6 4th street’s bet would be $3 and 5th, 6th and 7th streets would be $6.
The difference between razz and razzdugi is that razzdugi is a split pot game. Half the pot goes to the best razz hand. The best razz hand is A-2-3-4-5. The other half of the pot goes to the best badugi hand. The best badugi hand being A-2-3-4 rainbow. A badugi is four card hand of 4 different suits. IT is possible for a hand to win both the razz half and the badugi half. An example of that would be A-2-3-4-5 for razz with an A-2-3-4 rainbow for badugi. That is a very rare hand but is an example of a scoop hand.
