Cake Poker is the flagship site of the Cake Poker Network, the largest site to allow rakeback to U.S. players. When you sign up for Cake Poker through RakeTracker you will receive 33% rakeback, the highest rakeback percentage allowed on the Cake Poker Network.
Cake Poker uses the dealt method to calculate rakeback, which attributes rake to players based on table rake. This method is often preferred by tight players who get more benefit vs. the contributed method because they earn rakeback even on hands they don’t contribute money. Players will also be happy to find out that Cake Poker does not deduct anything from MGR.
Cake Poker is the 3rd most popular network to accept players from the US. Cake Poker will automatically pay rakeback every Thursday for play during the previous Wednesday-Tuesday period. You can check your rakeback right in the Cake Poker software by clicking on "My Account" from the client and then clicking on your "VIP Status" button, which is only available for rakeback players. Click on this button to see your daily.
Do not use Cake Poker Refer a Friend program when you sign up as it will prevent you from receiving rakeback.
Cake Poker, the flagship site of the Cake Poker Network, has grown rapidly since 2006 to become one of the internet’s top networks to accept USA players. Despite being a popular destination for US players, they also open their games to players from much of the rest of the world. The site is most widely known for their lucrative dealt rakeback and extra promotions.
The thousands of daily real money players populate the No Limit Hold’em, Fixed Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha tables. Tournament players get their fix from abundant satellites, Gold Chip/Gold Card and guaranteed tournaments, which also feature a $25,000 guaranteed, held on Sundays. Players can qualify for the World Series for as little as $1.10.
Cake Poker’s popular and fun promotions feature Loyalty Levels and a series of gold-themed promotions: Gold Chips, Gold Cards and Gold Sprees. These reward promotions are in addition to 33% rakeback. That’s not all – they still offer some of the most attractive sign-up bonus and reload bonuses available today. Cake Poker also recently introduced the innovative Gold Card Exchange, allowing players to buy and sell earned Gold Cards on the marketplace.

Cake Poker offers all the standard Hold'em games: No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit. All games are available in 2, 6 or 9 seats. Cake Poker also offers PL and Fixed Limit Omaha, although only $0.50/$1.00 and $1/$2 are run for Fixed Limit. A button for Stud games is visible in the lobby; however, no tables are viewable. Cake Poker does not offer any other games, making the site lag behind other sites in game selection.
Cake Poker’s traffic has decreased of late and as a result, most of the action available at No Limit Hold'em is below $3/$6 and $0.50/$1 at Limit Hold'em. All other activity takes place at the Pot Limit Omaha tables. Action will occasionally develop at the remaining Omaha games.
At NL Hold'em, two different buy-in levels are offered- standard and shallow. Shallow tables have a 20 big blind minimum and 50 big blind maximum, whereas standard tables run with buy-in levels ranging from 30 to 100 big blinds. Cash games are available in two speeds – Normal and Turbo.

As one of the top sites to accept USA players, Cake Poker has a wide array of tournament offerings. Guaranteed tournaments such as the weekly $25k and the $15k are popular draws. Players can buy in for each tournament with $162 or $109, respectively. The largest daily guaranteed tournament is a $50+$5 event held at 8 PM ET. Multiple daily satellites are held with buy-ins as low as $1.
Throughout the year, Cake Poker offers satellites to the most prestigious event in the world such as the WSOP, WPT and Aussie Millions. Satellites to popular guaranteed tournaments and Live events have buy-ins as low as $2, with many of them available daily. With Bounty tournaments, a portion of each prize pool is given away to players for knocking out opponents.
Also available at Cake Poker are Gold Card tournaments that award cash prizes, satellites entries to some of the most popular multi-table tournaments. Gold Cards are given randomly to one player for a select amount of rake. Gold Cards with high ranks can be quite valuable as fewer players will have them, resulting in great overlay for those that enter.
Cake Poker now runs synchronized MTT breaks at 55 minutes past the hour. This means if you are playing multiple tournaments simultaneously that all tournaments will go on break at the same time, allowing players to take an actual break.

Cake Poker also runs SNGs that players can buy-in with Gold Chips. These events are available by clicking the Gold Chip/Gold Card graphic towards the center of the client when clicking on "Tournaments." Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.25 in rake would be taken for each $5 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.
RakeTracker players can take advantage of four weekly $15,000 exclusive Rake Races each month. The leaderboard will pay the top 300 rake generators with cash prizes of between $13 to $1,250. Players are automatically enrolled.

Cake Poker players earn FPPs when playing real money cash games and tournaments at Cake Poker. Players can also earn Gold Chips at a rate of 1 per 100 FPPs earned. Gold Chips can be used to enter special tournaments.
Cake Poker's in house VIP program, the Gold Stacks Rewards Program, can be taken advantage of by rakeback players. The Gold Stacks Rewards Program consists of 50 levels paying Gold Chips, bonuses and cash prizes to players who complete a stack.
Players will be required to earn Gold Chips to complete a Stack. Once the Stack is completed, the player will be rewarded a prize based on how fast the stack was completed. A minimum prize is awarded with no time requirement, a "Turbo" reward will be given when a Gold Stack is completed within 4-6 days and a "Super Turbo" reward will be awarded to those that complete the stack within 3 days. Depending on the level, the player will either complete another Stack in the level or move on to the next level. The further a player advances in the program, the higher the rewards will be.
Players cannot lose a level if they are in levels 1-10. Once players advance past this milestone, they will be required to earn 3 Gold Chips over two consecutive months to maintain the status.
Gold Cards are rewarded to the table once a predetermined rake amount has been hit, believed to be around $20. The higher the stakes that are being played, the more often Gold Cards will be rewarded. Once the rake level is reached, a Gold Card will be given randomly to one player at the table. The higher the rank of your Gold Card, the rarer it is and thus more valuable the card will be for use in future promotions.
Gold Cards can be used to enter multi-table tournaments, Match and Win promotions and for use in the Gold Card Exchange.
Cake Poker allows new depositors to enter a weekly "$1000 New Depositor Freeroll" to be held on Saturday at 2 PM ET/18:00 GMT.
Held each Saturday at 2:15 PM ET/18:15 GMT. Players must qualify via one of Cake Poker's freeroll satellite.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.
As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.
All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.
With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!
Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply create a RakeTracker account, then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
Joining RakeTracker is FREE and easy. Creating a FREE account will give you instant access to rakeback from two dozen rooms on all major networks. RakeTracker members will also receive access to over $300,000 in monthly promotions including: Rake Races, Rake Chases, Freerolls and free poker coaching. Refer your friends to RakeTracker and earn $40 per friend and up to 4% of the rake they generate – income for life! Join the community at RakeTracker TODAY!
