Like all Merge Gaming sites, new players do not receive rakeback at PokerView but they can participate in a VIP program that awards up to 45% in equivalent VIP rakeback.

Games

PokerView offers more types of cash games than any other site. Like almost all online poker sites, the most popular games at PokerView are at No Limit and Fixed Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha. Players can find plentiful action up to $5/$10 at No Limit Hold'em with most of the tables running at six-seat shorthanded tables. There is much less activity at the Fixed Limit Hold'em tables, although games can be seen running up to $5/$10 as well. Tables are available for games from $0.02/$0.04 all the way to $50/$100.

Omaha games include No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit versions in Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. Much of the Omaha action is found at the Pot Limit Omaha tables, especially below $2/$4 and below. PokerView provides tables with stake levels of $0.02/$0.04-$50/$100, with the possibilty of action popping up at any time.

In addition to the standard games available at most sites, PokerView offers a large number of unique games. Mixed games on the site include HORSE (Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, Stud and Eight or Better), SHOE, RASH, HAR and HA. Other unusual offerings include Badugi, Draw, 5 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud games in Pot Limit, which is quite unusual for Stud. Action in most of these games is relatively sparse.

With the Merge Gaming Network growing so rapidily over the last couple years, multi-table tournament prize pools are growing as well. PokerView and the rest of the network currenly offers over $3 million a month in guaranteed tournaments. Popular tournaments on the site include a $30+3 $10,000 guaranteed on Saturdays and a daily $10k held at 10 PM ET. PokerView offers Sit N Gos in a large variety of games including various forms of Hold'em, Omaha and Stud. Despite offering many types of Sit N Gos, the large majority of the action is available at No Limit Hold'em. During peak times on the site, players can find action up to $100+$9, with most of the tables available shorthanded. Occasionally, higher buy-in action will get going (maximum buy-ins can reach $5500+$80).

Merge Gaming offers a variety of styles of Sit N Gos. One of the most popular, Double Up -- which are sometimes referred to as Double Up or Nothing, pay half of the prize pool double their buy-in. Sit N Gos are also offered in Turbo varieties where the blinds go up every 4 minutes as opposed to the standard 7 minutes. With Bounty Sit N Gos, payouts will be based on knocking out other players and are denoted with a green dollar sign. To pay the Bounties, PokerView take a portion of the prize pool and awards players each time they knock out an opponent. This is often 50% of the total prize pool, but can be anywhere from 10%-100%.

Sit N Go tournaments on PokerView start with buy-ins as low as $0.60. These small buy-in Sit N Gos are called “Fast Fifty SnGs.” Buy-in levels move all the way up to $5500+$80, available in the Turbo heads-up tables variety. Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.01 in rake would be taken for each $0.20 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.

PokerView VIP Program

Earn VIP Points on PokerView to climb up the ladder of the VIP Program, which awards VIP cash bonuses, monthly VIP freerolls and access to a VIP Host. Players start at Bronze and move up to Silver once they have earned 1,000 VIP Points, 10k at Gold or 25k at Platinum. In order to keep your status for amonth, you must earn the designated number of VIP Points every month. PokerView players who sit down on the site's popular Bad Beat Jackpot tables can earn a part of a large progressive prize when a player loses with Quad Sevens. The tables are available at Limit Hold'em at stake levels of $1/$2-$5/$10 and $0.50/$1.00-$5/$10 at No Limit Hold'em. When Quad Sevens are beat under specific conditions, 70% of the prize will be awarded with 50% of the paid amount going to the loser, 25% to the winner and 25% to the rest of the table. 20% of the non-paid amount will be used to reseed the next jackpot and 10% is taken by Carbon Poker as an administrative fee.

Merge Gaming takes a $0.50 jackpot drop from each pot where there is rake taken. In order to qualify for a Bad Beat Jackpot hand, the hand must meet certain other conditions. Both the winning and losing hand must use both hole cards and both players must also be active at the end of the hand. Players sitting who were not dealt cards will not be eligible for a prize.

Royal Flush Bonus

Players dealt a Royal Flush at Overbet are treated with a special bonus. Any player who is dealt a Royal Flush at any real money Texas Hold'em table will be given a bonus of 100x the blind blind up to $1,000. In order to receive the prize, both hole cards mmust be used and the player must win the original hand with a Royal Flush. If you are eligible for a prize you must submit a claim to support@pokerview.com within 48 hours of the hand. Make sure to include the hand number. If the player is seated at a Deal It Twice table, only the first hand will count towards the prize. Players must wait 10 days to receive their Royal Flush Bonus.

$20,000 Tournament King

PokerView offers two Multi-table leaderboards as part of the Tourney King promotion, which pays a combined $20,000 in cash and prizes each month. The tournament leaderboards are divided by buy-in size: a Low Limit Leaderboard for $0-$19.99 and a High Limit Leaderboard for buy-ins of $20 or more.

Leaderboard position is determined according to a formula that consists of average buy-in cost for the tournament, total number of participants, entrants, final placing and a final table bonus. Be one of the top 250 MTT players in each of the leaderboards during the month to receive access to a special tournament, which will be held on the second Sunday of the month following the leaderboard results. Chip stack amounts will vary according to your position on the leaderboard.

High Limit Leaderboard (for players at buy-ins of $20 or more): Tournament will give away over $13,000 in prizes, split between the top 50 players. Top prize is $3,000
