Aced makes their home on the Merge Gaming Network. The poker room is licensed in the EU by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta. Aced began accepting new U.S. players in November of 2011. RakeTracker players signing up at Aced will receive up to 47% VIP in addition to a 150% up to $150 sign-up bonus.
Players earn VIP rewards up to 47% in two separate ways: Cash Rebats and VIP Points exchanges. Cash Rebates are credited to player accounts as VIP Points are earned, according to status level. VIP Points, on the other hand, are exchanged by players for tournament entries or cash bonuses. The higher status level players achieve, the greater the rewards will be. In order to achieve the maximum return of 47% players must generate approximately $2,500 in rake during the month.
Players earn VIP Points according to the rake each player generates --10 VIP Points per $1 of rake or buy-in fees. Rake is based on the weighted contributed method of calculation, which allocates rake based on the percentage of the pot that each player contributes to.
The chart below details the number of VIP Points required to achieve each status level each month, the equivalent rake required and the value that the VIP program provides players in the form of cash rewards.

Aced joined the Merge Gaming Network in 2008 and is now operated by the same company that owns Carbon Poker. If you haven't paid attention to Merge Gaming over the last couple years, you may be surprised to learn that they are now a top 10 traffic site. U.S. players can also now play at Aced.
The software features some very unique attributes such as table accolades, rabbiting cards, the ability to show opponents only one of your cards and "Deal It Twice" tables. This provides players with a fun playing experience slightly different than other sites. Bad Beat Jackpot tables compromise much of the cash game action. At the Sit N Go tables traffic is healthy and at MTT, daily and weekly guaranteed tournaments such as the $50k weekly keep players coming back.
New players signing up through RakeTracker will receive lucrative perks when signing up through Aced. Players depositing on the site for the first time can take advantage of a 150% up to $750 sign-up bonus. Frequent players will enjoy the VIP program where they can earn up to 47% VIP through Cash Rebates and VIP Point exhanges, amoung other perks. The online poker room also offers special Bad Beat Jackpot tables with progressive prizes reaching well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. A Royal Flush bonus will award players a prize of 100x the big blind for being dealt the highest hand in poker.

There is very little action at the higher limits, although these tables are popping up with more frequency as site traffic increases.
Cash game tables on the site are available in 2, 6 or 9 seats, whereas Stud tables are available in 8 seats. Aced has some very popular non-standard tables in the form of Bad Beat Jackpot and Deal it Twice tables. Aced offers their Sit N Gos in a variety of games including various forms of Omaha and Hold’em; however, almost all running games will be found at No Limit Hold'em. During peak times, players should be able to find short-handed action up to $100+$9 and 10-seater action up to $20+$2. Tables are available all the way up to $5500+$80, so higher buy-in games will occasionally get going.
Double Up -- Double Up or Nothing as they are more commonly called --are quite popular on the Merge Network. Aced also offers Sit N Gos in Turbo and Bounty varieties. With Turbo contests, the blinds will go up every 4 minutes. Most standard SNGs will have levels going up every 7 minutes. Sit N Go tournaments start with buy-ins as low as $0.60, called “Fast Fifty SnGs” and move all the way up to the $5500+$80 Turbo heads-up tables (not available for the faint of heart). All-in or Fold tournaments provide players with an interesting way to gamble with little skill involved. At the Aced SuperTurbo Sit N Gos, blinds increase every 3minutes.Aced’s Bounty Tournaments, denoted with a green dollar sign, take a percentage of the prize pool as bounties on the heads of all players. This is often 50% of the total prize pool, but can be anywhere from 10%-100%.
| Aced Rake Schedule | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| # of players | 2-3 | 4-5 | 6-10 | |
| Fixed Limit | Up to $1/$2 | $0.01 per $0.20, $1 max (5%) | $0.01 per $0.20, $1 max (5%) | $0.01 per $0.20, $1 max (5%) |
| Fixed Limit | $2/$4 and Up | $0.01 per $0.20, $1 max (5%) | $0.01 per $0.20, $2 max (5%) | $0.01 per $0.20, $3 max (5%) |

Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.01 in rake would be taken for each $0.20 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.
VIPs earned in real money cash games and tournaments can be used to purchase items in the store, enter regular SNGs or MTTs, or purchase cash bonuses if you are a VIP player. The value of a VIP Point when exchanging for cash or for tournaments is $0.01 per VIP Point (or the equivalent of 7% in rakeback). See VIP Program for additional details. If you are a VIP player, this is the way to go as the rate in the store is not nearly as good.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.
As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.
All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.
With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!
Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply create a RakeTracker account, then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
Joining RakeTracker is FREE and easy. Creating a FREE account will give you instant access to rakeback from two dozen rooms on all major networks. RakeTracker members will also receive access to over $300,000 in monthly promotions including: Rake Races, Rake Chases, Freerolls and free poker coaching.
