Americas Cardroom RakeBack Review

Americas Cardroom Rakeback Review

RakeTracker members who sign-up and deposit at Americas Cardroom will be eligible for 27% rakeback. As a Winning Poker Network room (formeraly Yatahay), Americas Cardroom is the third largest site to offer rakeback to players. Players who register through RakeTracker will also be able to receive standard promotions such as a 100% up to $1,000 sign-up bonus, monthly Points Races and many other promotions. If you are a low to mid stakes player, signing up for rakeback at Americas Cardroom through RakeTracker is a wise choice.

There are many different ways that poker rooms calculate their rakeback that they pay to players. At Americas Cardroom, players are paid based on the "weighted contributed" method, which pays rakeback based on the % of each pot that you contribute to. As example, a player who contributed 40% of the pot when the rake is raked $1 would receive $0.40 attributed to them in rake.

Players are paid on their rakeback every Wednesday for rake generated during the previous Monday through Sunday period. Note that Americas Cardroom deducts certain items from your MGR when calculating the rakeback that will be paid. These items include bonuses, Frequent Player Points and cash-based promotions such as the Monthly Points Race. Just because there are deductions to your rakeback does not mean you should avoid them. For example, A player who clears a sign-up bonus with their rakeback would receive the equivalent of 42% rakeback when earning both together. These promotions can really add up together.

IMPORTANT

Do not use Americas Cardroom Refer a Friend program when you sign up as it will prevent you from receiving rakeback.

Americas Cardroom Review

Americas Cardroom Summary:

Americas Cardroom has existed as an online poker site for over 10 years. Recently, the poker room has been seen on ESPN and GSN commerials as well as brick and mortar cardrooms. They currently make their home as one of the premier sites on the Winning Poker Network, the fifth largest poker room to accept players from the U.S. and the third largest to offer rakeback.

Most of Americas Cardroom's traffic is at the No Limit Hold'em tables, but they also offer Omaha and Stud tables (with much less traffic). Americas Cardroom has a few dozen games running during peak times with many of them at mid stakes like $0.50/$1.00-$2/$4. Many of the No Limit Hold'em games running are at the blue colored Bad Beat Jackpot tables. With Americas Cardroom's recent growth, they have also added an impressive number of guaranteed tournaments including a weekly $15k and a $4k nightly. If you're just getting your feet wet on the site, we recommend Bankroll Builder tournaments and freerolls.

RakeTracker members can receive 27% rakeback, a 100% up to $1,000 first deposit bonus and a series of additional promotions when signing up for Americas Cardroom. Players can receive the equivalent of 42% rakeback when taking advantage of rakeback and a sign-up bonus together. Additional promotions such as the $65,000 Monthly Points Race, FPP usage and other promotions can effectively give players even more rakeback.

Americas Cardroom Games

Games

Americas Cardroom may be a small site, but if you enjoy playing in No Limit Hold'em games at stake levels up to $1/$2, there are usually enough games running to satisfy most players. In fact, the site has more games running than many sites that are larger. As the site increases in popularity, tables up to $5/$10 are seeing action.

Many of the players that are flocking to these games are sitting down at the site's Bad Beat Jackpot tables, which award a huge prize to a player losing with Quad Eights or higher. The blue colored tables are available up to $2/$4 and compromise about 75% of the action.

Like many sites, True Poker offers "Fast" tables, which require players act within 10 seconds of action being on them. On the poker room's "Short" tables players can buy-in with 20-40 Big Blinds, down from 40 to 200 on standard tables.

Even though Americas Cardroom provides games in Omaha and Stud, players should look at the room as a No Limit Hold'em-only site. In our observation we have seen little, if any, traffic at the other games. Games such as 32 Card Draw and 3 Card Poker are available in name form the lobby but have no tables that players can join.

Multi-Table Tournaments

Americas Cardroom has been increasing the size of their tournaments over the last year. Players can now enjoy over $500,000 a month in guaranteed tournaments on the site. The premier tournmaent on the site is the $15,000 guaranteed held every Sunday at 9 PM ET. Players can buy-in for $125+$12 or through one of the many $11+$1 satellites available on Saturday and Sundays.

Other popular tournaments at Americas Cardroom include a $7,500 Weekly held on Saturday nights for a $50+$5 entry fee. The site has even introduced a fairly large $5,000 Nightly tournament that players may enter for a $25+$2.50 or $1-$3 satellites. A $6,000 rebuy and add-on tournament is also held on Sunday nights. Each entrant is given one rebuy and one add-on.

SNGs

Sit N Gos are not Americas Cardroom's strongest area. Still, players can find limited tables running up to $20+$2. Sit N Gos are avialable primarily at the No Limit and Pot Limit Omaha tables with 90% or more of the action occuring at the No Limit Hold'em tables. If you are looking to start up a game you have the hoice of buy-in levels ranging from $1 all the up to $1,000.

There are three types of tournaments that players seem to gravitate towards at True Poker: Final Table Experience low buy-in tournaments, Double Or Nothing and Heads-Up. If you are flexible in the types of Sit N Gos you will play, Heads-Up may prove to be a viable option for you. Because fewer players are required to play, these games tend to pop-up at many different buy-in levels. Double or Nothing events -- which pay the top half of the field with double their buy-in -- are quite popular at the shorthanded tables.

Final Table Experience tables have a low buy-in amount and are primarily designed for new players. If you are looking for something a bit different, check out the Hyper Turbo and Turbo tournaments. These tournaments, which have blind increases every 2 or 3 minutes, are a great option if you want to finish a quick tournament or two.

Americas Cardroom Rake Schedule

Americas Cardroom Rake Schedule
# of Players   2 3 4-5 6-10
All Stakes Up to $2/$4 $0.05 per $1, $0.50 max (5%) $0.05 per $1, $1 max (5%) $0.05 per $1, $2 max (5%) $0.05 per $1, $3 max (5%)

Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.05 in rake would be taken for each $1 in the pot up to a total of $3 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.

Bad Beat Jackpot tables are quite popular at many sites and that is no different at Americas Cardroom. Players that join one of the blue labeled Bad Beat Jackpot tables will have a chance to win a portion of a huge progressive Bad Beat Jackpot prize that frequently can be tens of thousands of dolalrs.

To qualify for a Bad Beat Jackpot prize, a player must lose with Quad Eights or better. A player who accomplishes this and meets other basic requirements will trigger a prize payout. Requirement include that you must use both hole cards and four or more players must be dealt into the hand.

When a jackpot is hit, 60% of the total amount will be awarded to players dealt cards at the table. The loser of the hand will receive 50% of that amount, the winner of the hand 33% and the rest of the table 17%. The remaining portion of the jackpot will be used to seed the next jackpot (30%) and as an admin fee taken by Americas Cardroom (10%). This payout will apply for tables of $0.25/$0.50 and above.

Americas Cardroom feeds the jackpot with a $0.50 fee at tables of $0.25/$0.50 and up. At the lower stake levels, a smaller portion of the jackpot will be awarded to qualifiers. These stake levels also have a smaller fee taken from each raked hand. For example, at $0.05-$0.10, a $0.10 fee will be taken for each raked hand and 20% of the paid jackpot amount will be awarded to the table when it is hit. At $0.10/$0.20, the fee is $0.25 with 50% of the prize awarded if the jackpot is hit.

RakeTracker | The Rakeback Pioneer.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.

As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.

What is Rakeback?

All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.

With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!

Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply , then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
