Betfair Rakeback Review
Previously a standalone room, Betfair Poker is now a site on the Ongame Network. Players signing up at Betfair Poker through Rake Tracker will receive a choice of one of six sign-up bonuses up to $2,500. In addition, players will be eligible for the VIP Program, which can yield up to 40% in additional Valueback.

Like all Ongame sites, Betfair Poker does not accept players from the United States. Players are able to have an account on Betfair Poker even if they have an account from another site on the network.
Betfair Bonus
Betfair Poker offers players the choice of six different first deposit bonuses. The bonuses will clear at a rate of 8 to 14 Player Points per $1 of bonus money, depending on what bonus you choose. The incremental release amount and the time to clear the bonus will also be dependent upon the bonus you choose.
Players will earn 3.25 Player Points per $1 in contributed rake paid. A Player Point adjustment will be made based on your skill. Essentially, poorer players will earn more points whereas superior players will earn fewer points. Tournaments players will earn 5 Player Points for every $1 in tournament fees paid. No such skill level deduction will be made for points earned at tournaments. Below are the differences between the six bonuses.

*These valueback equivalent rates assume that you are a player of average skill level against your opponents. Rates for cash game players will be +/- the rates above adjusted for your skill level. Tournament equivalents will be unchanged.
VIP Program
Players that participate in real money games or tournaments are automatically eligible for Betfair Poker's VIP Program, where players can earn Valueback up to 40%. To receive Valueback at Betfair Poker, players can exchange Store Points for cash at a rate of 90 Store Points per $1. Coming soon, players will be able to exchange their points for bonus dollars or tournament ticket for a 10% discount.
Store Points are earned alongside Player Points with a VIP Points Multiplier applied that is based on VIP status level. A further “Boost” is awarded to players at the end of the month to get them closer to their maximum Valueback % of their VIP status.
Players qualify for VIP status levels by accumulating Player Points during a month or yearly period, according to the chart below.

The chart above details the Player Points required to achieve various status levels at Betfair, along with generated rake equivalents. Note that for cash games, that Player Points are adjusted based on your skill level versus your opponents, so actual numbers will be +/- the figures above.

Bonus Cash Rain
To celebrate their move to the Ongame Network, Betfair Poker is offering players a chance to receive up to $1,000 in bonuses for their play from July 27th to August 25th. Players can activate the bonus when entering in bonus code FREECASH in the new bonus section of the Betfair Players' Club section after July 27th.
Bonuses will be paid out at a rate of $5 for every 120 Player Points earned (24 per $1), the equivalent of a 13.5% valueback rate at ring games and 21% for MTT or SNG players. The 13.5% rate for cash game players will be dependent upon your skill level, with poorer players earning more and better players earning less. This bonus is not available for new players. Players can earn this bonus simultaneously with loyalty rewards.
Welcome Freeroll
Players making their first deposit on Betfair Poker are eligible for an entry into the $2,500 Welcome Freeroll to be held every Thursday night at 20:15 CET/18:15 GMT. The ticket will be issued within 72 hours of playing your first hand and will be valid for 30 days.
