U.S. Player Note: Bodog recently rebranded their U.S. facing site to Bovada. The site is exactly the same as Bodog but with a different name for U.S. players. RakeTracker players may simply use our Bodog link "Join Now" link above and follow the instructions to download Bovada.
Bodog is currently one of the largest independent networks in the world. The company got their start in the mid-nineties and they have operated an independent online poker room since 2004. Players signing up at Bodog will notice great games and slick software, as well as abundant payment processing options.
Team RakeTracker players receive a 100% up to $1000 Bodog poker bonus. Note that in some non-European countries, players will receive a sign-up bonus of 100% up to $1,100 with 10% awarded instantly. The site does not offer a VIP program or rakeback, but they do allow players to take advantage of the Points to Tickets program where they can exchange points for what is essentially unlimited tournament tickets. Points are exchanged at a rate of approximately 100 Poker Points per $1.
The site also awards bonuses for hitting a Bad Beat and Royal Flush while not taking out any extra rake. Bodog offers up to $15,000 in freerolls each month that players can use Poker Points to enter. The site has healthy No Limit Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha action, up to the mid stake levels. Tournament players will enjoy many daily and weekly guaranteed tournaments which culminate with the $100,000 guaranteed on Sundays.
Do not use Bodog Poker Refer a Friend program when you sign up as it will prevent you from receiving rakeback.
Bodog, one of the most recognizable online gambling names in the world, launched their online poker room in 2004 almost 10 years after forming the company. The site, which recently moved to an .EU domain name, has traditionally been a strong U.S. poker room but is gaining steam with players across the globe. Bodog is very focused on catering to recreational players and sportsbettors, resulting in very good action at the tables
Bodog is the only site in existence that has no waiting lists or player names at the tables. The poker room also does not allow tracking software. These policies are in place to limit the number of professional players. Action at Bodog can be found at Fixed Limit Hold’em, No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, among other games. Sit N Go and Multi-table tournament players will also find action running around the clock. Daily guaranteed tournaments reach up to $10,000 with the $100,000 Guaranteed on Sunday being the premier weekly event.
Because of a strict anti-rakeback rule, Team RakeTracker players are not able to receive rakeback at Bodog. There is no real rakeback replacement on the site either, but players can exchange their earned Bodog Points for unlimited tournament tickets. Players also receive extra value through Royal Flush and Bad Beat prizes, which do not have any extra rake taken.

Poker sites with sportsbooks commonly have some of the loosest online poker games available and the story is no different at Bodog. The quality of games are also aided by the fact that Bodog does not allow rakeback or have any sort of reward system, which tends to keep the sharks out of the games. Another major factor increasing the quality of games are Bodog's side-wide "Anonymous" tables. These tables prevent skilled players from following their opponents and exploiting weaknesses.
Bodog offers all the standard ring games including variations of Hold’em, Omaha and Stud. The most popular games are at No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, but there is also a surprising amount of games at the other games, notably Fixed Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. For Stud games, the site offers 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud High/Low and 5 Card Stud.
No Limit Hold’em tables have 2, 6 or 9 seats, whereas Fixed Limit Hold’em full ring games are available with 10 seats. There are no variations in the games at Bodog – they are all standard tables. There are no “nosebleed” games at Bodog. For example, No Limit Hold’em games are available in limits ranging from $0.02-$0.05 to $10/$20 and Fixed Limit tables range from $0.05/$0.10 to $30/$60.

Unlike the multi-table tournament action at Bodog, Sit N Gos are offered in many different games, including No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, Stud and even Stud Hi/Lo. Almost all of the action runs at the No Limit Hold’em tables with some limited Omaha activity.
For a medium-sized site, Bodog sees a healthy amount of Sit N Go activity at the No Liimit Hold’em tables, which have limits offered up to $220+$15. The majority of the action is seen occurring up to $105+$9. A large majority of the Sit N Go tables have 2, 6 or 10 seats, with some limited multi-table action available at the lower buy-in levels.
Sit N Go Satellites are offered for the most popular tournaments on Bodog including the $100k guaranteed and the $7,500 bi-monthly freerolls. Players can qualify via real money Sit N Gos up to $35+$3.50 or via Poker Points tournaments that players can enter for 1500 Poker Points. Bodog offers non-standard tournaments in Turbo and Super-Turbo styles. Fans of Double or Nothing tournaments will see tournaments available at buy-ins of $7+0.70 to $56+$4. Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.25 in rake would be taken for each $5 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $40, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.
Each month, Bodog players can exchange their earned Points for tournament tickets via the "Points to Tickets" section of your account. Players are albe to exchange an unlimied number of points each month to top tournaments including the $100k guaranteed, generic $109 tickets and tickets to other guaranteed tournaments. The value of poitns through this method is just over $0.01 per point.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.
As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.
All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.
With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!
Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply create a RakeTracker account, then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
Joining RakeTracker is FREE and easy. Creating a FREE account will give you instant access to rakeback from two dozen rooms on all major networks. RakeTracker members will also receive access to over $300,000 in monthly promotions including: Rake Races, Rake Chases, Freerolls and free poker coaching. Refer your friends to RakeTracker and earn $40 per friend and up to 4% of the rake they generate – income for life! Join the community at RakeTracker TODAY!
