Minted Poker is one of the most popular online poker rooms on the Everleaf Gaming Network, the fourth largest to accept play from the United States and second largest room to allow rakeback. In addition to accepting players from the US, the site also holds a European license in Malta. Team RakeTracker members that sign-up through Rake Tracker will receive 40% Minted Poker rakeback, the largest rakeback percentage offered at RakeTracker.
Minted Poker uses the weighted contributed method to calculate rakeback. Tournament entry fees are also included in MGR. Minted Poker pays rakeback directly to your Minted Poker account every Tuesday or Wednesday for the previous week's play. All cashiering for Minted Poker is done through Everleaf and other skins so your funds are safe on any skin.
Minted Poker does not deduct anything from rakeback. A player clearing the sign-up bonus with rakeback would receive the full benefit of the sign-up bonus. A player clearing both will earn a total of 54%-65% rakeback.
Do not use Minted Poker Refer a Friend program when you sign up as it will prevent you from receiving rakeback.
Minted Poker burst on to the online poker scene in 2008 as a destination to get rakeback on the Everleaf Network. After a merger with the UPN network, the network has grown by five times over the last year. Minted Poker not only accepts USA players but also has a European license through Malta.
Much of the action at Minted Poker is concentrated on No Limit Hold'em cash games, especially shorthanded. As a result, we generally recommend the room for players who wish to play No Limit cash game tables under 3/6. Table currencies and player accounts are available in both the US dollar and euro. SNG action is quite light, but Minted Poker does offer MTTs with guaranteed prize pools (up to $1,000) along with many freerolls including a $500 First Depositor freeroll.
Minted Poker offers generous 40% rakeback based on the contributed method. In addition, they offer a sign-up bonus of 200% up to $1000 that adds to player's return by an additional 18%. Signing up through RakeTracker will also allow players to be eligible for a monthly rake chase that further add to each player's total yield.

Minted Poker offers occasional reloads -- usually one every 2 or 3 months. The reloads tend to be pretty small with clearance rates that are not very spectacular by themselves. But because bonuses and deposit fees are not deducted from MGR, they should be taken advantage of without question. Reload bonuses typically yield 10% to 25% in extra rakeback return.

Cash game traffic drastically increased at Everleaf Poker Network in 2010 with the merging of the UPN (Universal Poker Network) to the Everleaf Gaming Network. As a result of the merger with the European-focused UPN, the USA facing site now offers their games in dollars and euros. Players should be cautious about the euro tables, however, due to the relatively large rake (20% higher than dollar tables).
Players will find games offered at Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo and 7 Card Stud. All Hold'em and Omaha games come in Fixed Limit, Pot Limit or No Limit varieties. Stud Games, on the other hand, come only in Fixed Limit. Players have the option to sit at 2, 6 or 10 seat tables for the Hold'em and Omaha games and 8 for Stud. The vast majority of the action will be found at No Limit Hold'em, especially shorthanded. Despite offering limits up to $100/$200, most of the action is going to occur at limits up to 3/6.
Minted Poker also offers Speed tables and CAP tables at No Limit Hold'em. At Speed tables, players will only have 10 seconds to act versus 20 seconds at standard tables. At CAP tables, once a players has contributed a certain amount to the pot they are considered all in.

Nobody will claim that Minted Poker is the premier site for ring games and tournaments. That doesn't mean players should dismiss the site, as the lack of third party tracking support helps contribute to some better games and tournaments.
The Sunday featured tournament, held at 3 PM ET, has a $3,000 guarantee. The best daily tournament is a $1,500 $10+$1 tournament held Daily at 3 PM ET. The satellite tournaments that are offered award general tournament tickets, meaning you don't have to buy-in to a specific tournament as long as the buy-in is the same. Players can qualify for a small $1500 WSOP event by buying into one of three WSOP Steps.
Minted Poker offers deep Super Stack SNGs, starting players with 10,000 in chips, along with "Turbo Frenzy" contests that increase the blinds every 5 minutes. Players can also buy-in to freezeouts and Rebuy & Add-on tournaments.

Few SNGs run at Minted Poker. However, they offer SNG tables up to 500+20. With traffic increasingly rapidly on the room, the chance of increased SNG action had improved greatly. At this point, most of the action we have viewed is located on the micro stake No Limit Hold'em tables below $5+$0.50. The Sit N Gos on Minted Poker come in two types: standard and speed.
Minted Poker offers Hold'em and PL Omaha Sit N Go contests with 6, 10, 20, 30 or 50 seats, with the multi-table action primarily available at the low buy-in levels (below 15+1). Perhaps in an effort to attract more players, the buy-in fee is only 5% at the $10 to $500 buy-in levels. SNGs are available in both dollar and euro currencies.

Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.01 in rake would be taken for each $0.20 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.
As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.
All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.
With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!
Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply create a RakeTracker account, then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
Joining RakeTracker is FREE and easy. Creating a FREE account will give you instant access to rakeback from two dozen rooms on all major networks. RakeTracker members will also receive access to over $300,000 in monthly promotions including: Rake Races, Rake Chases, Freerolls and free poker coaching.
