When you sign up for Red Star Poker rakeback through Rake Tracker you will receive 33% rakeback. That is the highest rakeback allowed on the Cake Poker Network. To calculate your rakeback, Red Star Poker uses the dealt method which is ideal for tighter players. This is due to the fact that players get credit for rakeback even though no contribution to the pot is made.
Although Red Star Poker accepts players from the U.S. and Canada, players in those countries cannot get rakeback on Red Star Poker. We recommend US and Canadian players sign up for rakeback at Cake Poker, which is the flagship site on the network U.S. and Canadian players still qualify for all bonuses.
Red Star Poker automatically pays rakeback weekly directly to your Red Star Poker account. Payments are made each Thursday for the previous Wednesday through Tuesday period. You can check your rakeback stats in the Red Star Poker software. By clicking on your “My Account” section in the client, you will see a stats button where you will be able to view your updated stats on a daily basis. Red Star Poker does not deduct anything from MGR.
RedStar Poker does not deduct anything from MGR. However, rakeback players will earn FPPs at ½ the normal rate as non-rakeback players. Despite this fact, rakeback players are much better off than non-rakeback players.
Do not use Red Star Poker Refer a Friend program when you sign up as it will prevent you from receiving rakeback.
Established in 2005, Red Star was originally a standalone room that catered to Russian players. Now on the Cake Poker Network, they open their doors to all players from around the world (although USA and Canadian players cannot receive rakeback at Red Star Poker).
No Limit Hold'em is the cash game of choice at Red Star Poker, but limited action is also available at Limit Hold'em and PL Omaha. Multi-table tournaments such as the weekly $25,000 and daily $5,000 held on Sundays are popular draws. Players can also buy-in to special SNGs or MTTs with Gold Chips or Gold Cards.
Red Star Poker offers 33% rakeback along with a 250% up to $1100 sign-up bonus and frequent reload bonuses usually offered every month. Players can also get extra incentives with Gold Chip and Gold Cards, earned at real money games. The Loyalty Levels Rewards program is the Red Star Poker in-house VIP program that awards cash, bonuses and Gold Chips when reaching one of many milestones. Rake Tracker also offers a huge monthly Rake Chase for our players.

Red Star Poker offers No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit Hold'em with games primarily available at No Limit up to $3/$6 and Limit Hold'em up to $1/$2. The tables at Red Star Poker are offered with 2, 6, or 9 seats. There is also available action at Fixed Limit and Pot Limit Omaha. All other cash game action can mostly be seen at PL Omaha up to $10/$20.
At No Limit Hold'em, Red Star offers tables with two buy-in levels -- standard and shallow. Players can buy-in to Shallow tables with 20 to 50 times the big blind. At standard tables, the buy-in range will be between 30 to 50 times the big blind.
In the lobby under Real Money Texas Hold'em No Limit games, blue "Pro" tables will be visible at limits of $5/$10 and $10/$20. At 7 PM ET Monday through Friday, players can watch and/or play against top pros such as Phil Laak.

Red Star Poker offers many guaranteed tournaments throughout the day, with the biggest multi-table tournaments offered during the American evening. The biggest regular tournament at Red Star is a $25,000 guarantee held each Sunday at 3 PM ET. The buy-in for the event is $150+$12, however players can qualify for the event via much cheaper satellites. At 1 PM ET on Sunday’s Red Star Poker will hold their second largest weekly tournament – a $15,000 guaranteed with a $100+$9 buy-in. The largest daily event is a $50+$5 $5,000 guaranteed tournament held daily at 6 PM ET.
Satellites to some of the most prestigious events in the world are offered throughout the year at Red Star Poker. Satellites are offered for events such as the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour and the Aussie Millions, all of which have prize pools in the millions of dollars. Satellites to these events have buy-ins as low as $2 so virtually anybody has a chance to hit it big.
Players can also enter Gold Chip Sit N Gos or Gold Card tournaments that will award cash prizes, Gold Chips or satellite entries to the most popular tournaments at Red Star Poker. Some tournaments with older/high rank Gold Cards can provide significant value to players. Gold Chips will be awarded for generating rake; Gold Cards are awarded randomly to player on a table once the table has a hit a predetermined rake threshold.

Except for a few Heads-up and low buy-in Fixed Limit Sit N Gos, all of the available SNG action is at No Limit Hold'em. Sit N Go tables are offered with buy-ins ranging from $1 up to $5,000. Players can mostly be seen playing at the tables with buy-ins below $33, however. Red Star Poker offers their Sit N Go tables with 2, 6 or 10 seats. Limited multi-table action is also available with 20 or 30 seats, but games are generally only seen at the smallest buy-in levels.
Red Star and the Cake Network do a good job of offering variety to their players. SNGs can be found in the following types: Turbo, Super Turbo, Double-Up and Kamikaze. Blinds will increase every 6 minutes at Turbo tables, down from 10 minutes at standard SNGs. At Super Turbo tables, blinds increase chaotically every 2 minutes. Double Up SNGs award the top half of the field with double their buy-in. These SNGs are great for players that like to play a tight, smart game. Finally, with Kamikaze SNGs players will be required to go all-in every hand.
Due to the many different types of SNGs that can be found at Red Star Poker, the buy-in fees will vary. Standard SNGs tend to be at about 10% of the buy-in or a little lower, whereas faster SNGs such as Turbo or Super Turbo are closer to 5% of the buy-in. This also applies to the Double Up SNGs.
Players can also use Gold Chips to buy-in to special Gold Chip SNGs. These tournaments will award satellites into guaranteed tournaments or bounty events, cash prizes or additional Gold Chips, which can be used to purchase merchandise and cash bonuses. These tournaments are viewable via the yellow Gold Chip icon under "Tournaments."

Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.25 in rake would be taken for each $5 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.
Red Star Poker players earn FPPs when playing real money cash games and tournaments at Red Star Poker. Players can also earn Gold Chips at a rate of 1 per 100 FPPs earned. Gold Chips can be used to enter special tournaments.

Red Star Poker's in house VIP program, the Loyalty Levels Rewards Program, can be taken advantage of by rakeback players. The Loyalty Levels Rewards Program consists of 50 levels paying Gold Chips, bonuses and cash prizes to players who complete a stack.
Players will be required to earn Gold Chips to complete a Stack. Once the Stack is completed, the player will be rewarded a prize based on how fast the stack was completed. A minimum prize is awarded with no time requirement, a "Turbo" reward will be given when a Gold Stack is completed within 4-6 days and a "Super Turbo" reward will be awarded to those that complete the stack within 3 days. Depending on the level, the player will either complete another Stack in the level or move on to the next level. The further a player advances in the program, the higher the rewards will be.
Players cannot lose a level if they are in levels 1-10. Once players advance past this milestone, they will be required to earn 3 Gold Chips over two consecutive months to maintain the status.
Gold Cards are rewarded to the table once a predetermined rake amount has been hit, believed to be around $20. The higher the stakes that are being played, the more often Gold Cards will be rewarded. Once the rake level is reached, a Gold Card will be given randomly to one player at the table. The higher the rank of your Gold Card, the rarer it is and thus more valuable the card will be for use in future promotions.
Gold Cards can be used to enter multi-table tournaments, Match and Win promotions and for use in the Gold Card Exchange.
Each Sunday, Red Star Poker will run a $1,000 that players can enter with just one Gold Chip.
Red Star Poker runs exclusive MTT leaderboards for players in specific tournaments. Prizes will be given away for each round, held twice a month. Players will earn points based on their performance in each tournament during the round.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.
As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.
All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.
With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!
Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply create a RakeTracker account, then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
Joining RakeTracker is FREE and easy. Creating a FREE account will give you instant access to rakeback from two dozen rooms on all major networks. RakeTracker members will also receive access to over $300,000 in monthly promotions including: Rake Races, Rake Chases, Freerolls and free poker coaching.
