True Poker offers Rake Tracker members 27% rakeback when signing up through Rake Tracker. True Poker is the 3rd largest site to offer rakeback to U.S. players, but also opens their games to the rest of the world. The rakeback earned at True Poker is in addition to the standard promotions you receive including a 100% up to $1,000 sign-up bonus and monthly promotions such as the $50,000 Points Race.
Rakeback at True Poker is based on the weighted contributed method, which calculates rakeback based on the percentage of each pot that you contribute to. Simply put, a player who puts in 20% of the money towards the pot, would get credit for 20% of the rake.
Rakeback payments are made each Wedneday for rakeback earned during the previous Monday through Sunday. When calculating rakeback, True Poker deducts bonuses, Frequent Player Points which are redeemed and other cash-based promotions such as the cash prizes earned through the monthly Points Race. Remember: even though there is a deduction to your MGR when taking advantage of these promotions, you are still better off participating in them.
Do not use True Poker Refer a Friend program when you sign up as it will prevent you from receiving rakeback.
Having launched in 2002, True Poker was one of the first online poker sites to launch. While they have never grown very large in size, they have remained a reliable, reputable site for their entire history. They are a part of the fifth largest network -- Winning Poker (Yahatay) -- to accept players from the U.S. Since Bodog and Merge Gaming do not offer traditional rakeback, True Poker is the 3rd largest to allow rakeback.
Most of True Poker's traffic is at the No Limit Hold'em tables, but they also offer Omaha and Stud tables (with much less traffic). True Poker has a few dozen games running during peak times, and many of them are at mid stakes like $0.50/$1.00-$2/$4. Many of the No Limit Hold'em games running are at the blue colored Bad Beat Jackpot tables. With True Poker's recent growth, they have also added an impressive number of guaranteed tournaments including a weekly $15k and a $3.5k nightly.
Players signing up through Rake Tracker will receive 27% rakeback as well as a 100% up to $1,000 first deposit bonus. True Poker also offers periodic reload bonuses to players wishing to make a subsequent deposit. Generous promotions are offered each month including a monthly $50,000 Points Race that pays cash prizes to the top 250 players.

If you like No Limit Hold'em, chances are you will like True Poker, especially if you like playing smaller stakes. The site has plentiful $0.10/$0.20-$0.50/$1.00 action -- especially for a site its size -- with games also sporadically available up to $5/$10. What makes True Poker compelling, at least as measured against sites of its size, is that a fair amount of action also runs at the $1/$2-$2/$4 levels as well.
A large majority of the tables that see action are at the site's popular Bad Beat Jackpot tables, which are available at $0.05/$0.10-$5/$10. The maximum jackpot is only available at tables at $0.25/$0.50 and above. In addition to Bad Beat Jackpot tables, players can also find non-standard games available in the Short Stack and Fast styles.
Almost all of the action is at the No Limit Hold'em tables, so you will be disappointed if you prefer other games. However, True Poker is gaining players, so there is always the possibility of a non conventional game popping. The site offers varieties of Hold'em, Omaha and Stud. 3 Card Poker, Telesina and 32 Card Draw can be seen in the lobby but do not currently have any tables available for play.

Sit N Gos at True Poker come in two different games: No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Hold'em. Among the games that are offered, most of the action occurs at No Limit Hold'em, primarily at buy-ins below $20+$2. Buy-in start at $1 and move all the way up to $1,000.
The most popular single table tournaments at True Poker are the the low buy-in Final Table Experience Sit N Gos. At the short-handed tables, Double Up Or Nothing contests are also quite popular. The tournament double the buy-in of half of the participants.
If you enjoy playing Heads-Up Sit N Gos, True Poker will be a great option for you. These tournaments run much more frequently and at higher buy-in levels. True Poker does not offer multi-table Sit N Gos.
Players looking for some beyond the standard tournament styles wont find a lot at True Poker. The site does, however, offer variations of speed events including the Hyper Turbo and Turbo tables with buy-ins of 2 and 3 minutes, respectively.
| True Poker Rake Schedule | |||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| # of Players | 2 | 3 | 4-5 | 6-10 | |
| All Stakes | Up to $2/$4 | $0.05 per $1, $0.50 max (5%) | $0.05 per $1, $1 max (5%) | $0.05 per $1, $2 max (5%) | $0.05 per $1, $3 max (5%) |
Example: At a $1/$2 fixed limit Hold'em game with 6 players seated and dealt cards, $0.25 in rake would be taken for each $5 in the pot up to a total of $1 in rake. Once the pot reaches $20, no further rake is taken. "5%" represents the % of the pot that is raked from the table at the time the rake is taken. Because many pots do not end up being raked (i.e. if no flop is seen) or if the pot is in between rake levels, effective rake levels are lower.
Each month, True Poker award $65,000 in cash in the site's Points Race. Players accumulate points based on the amount that they rake. Additional points are awarded when participating in designated satellite and guaranteed tournament. See the True Poker site for the eligible tournaments for this month. The leaderboard will pay cash prizes of $50 to $10,000. Payouts will me within five days of the end of the month.

Believe it or not, there was a time in online poker’s history that there was no such thing as rakeback. When the seeds of Rake Tracker were first planted in 2003 almost all poker rewards came in the form of bonuses. Soon players wanted more. The RakeTracker business first started small, offering rakeback to players on a one-on-one basis and through referrals.
As the business grew, RakeTracker.com was launched as one of the first full-scale rakeback providers on the internet providing players with additional perks that they could receive in addition to bonuses – payout out rakeback since 2004. Now many years later, players still flock to RakeTracker for industry leading rakeback deals, monthly poker promotions in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and top quality customer support.
All live and online card rooms take “rake” and “tournament fees” to run and operate their games. The amount of rake or fees taken will vary by game type and stake levels, but will generally be 5% of each pot for ring games and around 10% of the buy-in for tournaments.
With rakeback, players are returned a percentage of the rake that is attributed to them, usually 27%-40%. Simply put: Receiving rakeback and other promotions help winning poker players win more and losing poker players lose less. There is no reason not to get rakeback!
Getting rakeback is easy through RakeTracker: simply create a RakeTracker account, then using our referral links download the poker site’s software, add the tracker to your account and you are ready to go! Detailed instructions are available on each site’s review page.
Joining RakeTracker is FREE and easy. Creating a FREE account will give you instant access to rakeback from two dozen rooms on all major networks. RakeTracker members will also receive access to over $300,000 in monthly promotions including: Rake Races, Rake Chases, Freerolls and free poker coaching.
