07/01/2010Poker Stars is offering a series of promotions catering to their micro stake players during the month of July. Perks include a tournament ticket bonus, extra VPPs and FPPs earned during micro-stake play, money added $1.10 multi-table tournaments and extra cash prizes for $1.10 SNG players. If you are a mid to high stakes player, this promotion probably will not be attractive to you. But if you are a new player or one that doesn't like to play for big money, this just might be the promotion you have been waiting for.
Existing players can take advantage of a $1.10 tournament ticket when using bonus code MICRO on your next deposit. Players can qualify by making a minimum deposit of only $10.
Play on No Limit or Pot Limit tables up to $0.05/$0.10 or Limit Hold'em tables up to $0.10/$0.20 and receive at least 50% in extra VIP rewards. At these tables, 10 VPPs will be awarded to the table for every $1 raked at the table. This is up from 5.5-6 VPPs per $1 raked. This means players will clear bonuses twice as fast and also earn FPPs at twice the normal rate. FPPs can be used in the store to purchase merchandise, cash, or tournament tickets and enter special FPP tournaments.
Poker Stars will be running four $1.10 No Limit Hold'em tournaments every day with $1,000 added to each tournament. Players can find them as MicroMania Specials under Tournaments. They will be held each day at 10:20 AM, 1:20 PM, 7:20 PM and 10:20 PM ET, which is four hours ahead of GMT.
Poker Stars is making sure Sit N Go players wont be left out either. Players winning a $1.10 Super MicroMania SNG tournament during the month of July will receive a share of $100,000 at the end of the month. For example, if there are 10,000 $1.10 Super SNG winners for the month of July, each winner would receive $10. Players can play as many of these 50-man SNGs as they like but will only be able to receive one share of the prize pool.
