Diamond Mine and Turbo Gold Card at Cake
01/07/2011Cake Poker Network sites, Cake Poker, Red Star Poker and Victory Poker, will be running the Diamond Mine and Turbo Gold Cards starting January 10th. Diamond Mine is a series of tournaments that players can enter with Series 2011 diamond Gold Cards. If you don't have any diamond cards from 2011, Cake Network sites are making it easier to accumulate them through their Turbo Gold Cards promotion.
Turbo Gold Cards
Players at real money cash game tables from January 10th to January 23rd will be able to receive Gold Cards at twice the normal rate from 4 PM to 5 PM ET and again from 8 PM to 11 PM ET each day during the promotion. The Gold Cards, which are awarded randomly to a player sitting at the table for each $20 in rake the table accumulates, can be used to enter tournaments, for prizes in the Match and Win promotion or for buying/selling in the Gold Card exchange.
$40,000 Diamond Mine
Save your diamond 2011 series Gold Cards because starting January 10th, players can use them to enter special Diamond Mine tournaments. The first event kicks off with a 2 of diamonds event. The tournament will award $300 in the prize pool and also give away 100 seats to Event 2, which will be a 3 of diamonds event. Players can continue to participate in all tournaments by having a card for the event or by earning a seat to the following days event. Players that participate in the first 12 events will receive an entry into the $10,000 Flawless Freeroll.
