Entraction Rakeback and VIP Program Changes
11/02/2011There are a couple important changes to how rakeback will be paid starting in November on the Entraction Network, including NoiQ Poker. In addition to this rakeback change, the Entraction network has also revamped their VIP Program, which players can benefit from as an alternative to flat rakeback.
Rakeback Changes on NoiQ Poker
Starting in November, players must generate at least €33.33 in MGR from Friday to Thursday CET to be paid rakeback. If you don't meet this requirement, your rakeback will NOT be carried over. This is definitely something to keep in mind if you are a low raker at NoiQ.
VIP Program Changes
As you may know, NoiQ Poker gives Rake Tracker players the choice of opting in to the VIP program versus flat rakeback. Doing so is not recommended unless you generate at least €1,750 in rake per month each month OR don't meet the minimum MGR requirements each week. For players that participate in this program, you will notice some changes starting in November:

How does the program work?
Essentially, a player qualifies for the VIP program based on how many VIP Points were earned during the previous 60 days. A player then accumulates Loyalty Points based on a multiplier from Base Points, which increases as a player moves up in levels. Loyalty Points can then be used to purchase bonuses that are available for your status. The higher your status level, the larger the bonuses will be. Players in the higher statuses can exchange their Loyalty Points for smaller bonuses -- which are also available to players in lower statuses -- or save them up to maximize return by purchasing a larger bonus.
How can I sign-up to the standard VIP program?
If you would prefer the standard VIP program, you can email support@noiqpoker.com. You may switch back but NoiQ Poker will not tolerate players that repeatedly switch back and forth. Make sure that you still sign-up through Rake Tracker as you can still take advantage of our monthly exclusive $13,000 Points Race and other promotions.
Should I opt-in to the VIP Program or flat rakeback?
This will depend on the type of player you are and your preference. In general, you will be better off receiving 30% flat rakeback (which is the default deal when signing up through Rake Tracker). The biggest benefit is that you don't have to worry about receive your rakeback. You know that you will always receive 30%. The exceptions to this rule are if you rake very little (less than €33.33 per week) or if you rake €1,750 or more every month. In the case of a low raker, make sure to opt-in to rakeback once you start accumulating more than €33.33 in rake per month as you will be much better off with flat rakeback.
