11/29/2011As of November 24th, points earned at cash games and tournaments will now be earned at a rate of 3.6 per $1 of tournament buy-in fees or cash game rake. Points earned at cash games will still be subject to the Essence system, which adjusts points based on the skill level of each player versus their opponents.
Players to cash games will now clear a standard bonus at the equivalent of 45% valueback, an increase in return. Tournament players, on the other hand, will see their return dip from just over 60% to 45% as well.
