Pokerfest Comes to Party Poker April 22nd
04/17/2012Starting April 22nd, Party Poker will be giving away $3.5 million in guaranteed prizes over 47 events in the second Pokerfest. The series will culminate with a $1 Million guaranteed Main Event on May 6th. Players can buy-in directly for $640 or qualify via satellites.
The series will consist of a mix of large guarneed tournaments, mid buy-in events ($6-$36) and Party Points tournaments. Players can buy-in to these events directly or qualify via satellites.
For top players, Party Poker will run three leaderboards for each buy-in level. No matter what buy-in level is comfortable for there will be a leaderboard available that you have an opportunity to qualify for:
- Points Buy-in: $2,500 prize pool, paying 250 players
- Low Buy-in ($6-$33): $15,000 prize pool, paying 500 players
- High Buy-in ($55+): $32,500 prize pool, paying 500 players
Leaderboards will be based on the following formula:(√Buy-in/2 + √wins)
